New Orleans has lost a great friend
New Orleans has lost a great friend and we have lost a family member. Pat O’Brien’s owner George “Sonny” Oechsner III has departed this world but will be remembered and cherished in the hearts of many. Please keep the Pat O'Brien’s staff and Oechsner family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Pat O'Brien's will continue to operate under leadership from Sonny's daughter and 3rd generation local owner Shelly Oechsner Waguespack. Pat O'Brien's will be closed Wednesday morning for the services and will reopen Wednesday March 14th at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
